Wyoming Girls Cross Country Performer of the Week (Aug. 31-Sep. 6)

Alexis Teschendorf, Natrona County High School (Wyoming): Crossed first out of 179 finishers at the Wyoming Cross Country Invitational, covering the 5K in 20:09.09 and holding a 6.5-second margin at the line. The clocking also marks significant progress on this course, coming in 88.9 seconds faster than a prior mark of 21:38.00, and ranks No. 60 of 1,241 athletes in MileSplit's database at Little America Golf Course since 2019.

Ellie Farris, Buffalo High School (Wyoming): A winning time of 20:01.60 in the 5K was good for the top spot among 39 finishers at the Buffalo HS Cross Country Invitational, with the margin of victory stretching to 24.0 seconds. That performance now sits at No. 8 of 348 athletes in MileSplit's database at this course since 2019.

Lexi Longhurst, Kelly Walsh High School (Wyoming): Second place among 179 finishers at the Wyoming Cross Country Invitational came via a 5K time of 20:15.64. That result places at No. 65 of 1,241 athletes in MileSplit's database at Little America Golf Course since 2019.

Flora Caputo-Wilkowski, Laramie High School (Wyoming): A third-place finish out of 179 runners at the Wyoming Cross Country Invitational came in a 5K time of 20:38.00. The mark ranks No. 102 of 1,242 athletes in MileSplit's database at Little America Golf Course since 2019.

Karee Cooley, Powell High School (Wyoming): Crossing the line second among 39 finishers at the Buffalo HS Cross Country Invitational, a 20:25.60 clocking over 5K also reflected real progress on this course. The time was 61.7 seconds faster than a previous mark of 21:27.31 here, and ranks No. 15 of 348 athletes in MileSplit's database at Buffalo HS XC Course since 2019.
