Wyoming Boys Cross Country Performer of the Week (Aug. 24-30)

After another week of cross country racing in Wyoming, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Wyoming boys cross country performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:

Cal Bibbey, Cheyenne Central High School (Wyoming): A 5K in 15:34.48 was enough to clear the field by 20.0 seconds at the Horizon Invitational, taking first among 204 finishers. It stands as the fastest time in MileSplit's database at Adams County Regional Park XC Course since 2019, a span covering 2,088 athletes.

Colt Madsen, Mountain View High School (Wyoming): Third place among 125 finishers at the More Cowbell Invitational came in a 5K clocking of 17:28.00. The mark checks in at No. 19 of 628 athletes in MileSplit's database at Valli-Vue Golf Course since 2019, and it improved on a prior showing there by 46.0 seconds.

Kellen Winters, Burlington High School (Wyoming): Fifth out of 258 finishers at the Billings Invitational XC Meet, covering the 5K distance in 15:58.20. The time ranks No. 9 of 1,378 athletes in MileSplit's database at Amend Park since 2019, and it came 40.2 seconds faster than a previous mark on that same course.

Jace Townsend, Buffalo High School (Wyoming): A 16:22.42 over 5K placed ninth in a 258-runner field at the Billings Invitational XC Meet. That effort sits at No. 25 of 1,378 athletes in MileSplit's database at Amend Park since 2019, representing a jump of 115.4 seconds faster than a prior clocking on the course.

William Bibbey, Cheyenne Central High School (Wyoming): Ninth among 204 finishers at the Horizon Invitational, crossing in 17:02.86 for the 5K. The time lands at No. 42 of 2,088 athletes in MileSplit's database at Adams County Regional Park XC Course since 2019.
