Eli Balkenbush, Sheridan High School (Wyoming): Winning the Northern Hills Invitational Cross Country Meet in 15:38.80, the sophomore covered the 5K in front of all 49 finishers and had the runner-up 27.1 seconds behind at the line. That clocking checks in at No. 2 of 522 athletes in MileSplit's database at Evans Park since 2019.
Glorian Blackbear, Wind River High School (Wyoming): The 5K went to the sophomore in 18:36.10 at the Buffalo HS Cross Country Invitational, taking first among 40 finishers and pulling away by 65.4 seconds. The performance ranks No. 78 of 571 athletes in MileSplit's database at Buffalo HS XC Course since 2019.
Kallan Sparks, Thunder Basin High School (Wyoming): A tight finish at the Northern Hills Invitational Cross Country Meet still ended in a win, with the senior taking first of 53 finishers in 18:27.30, just 5.4 seconds up on the field. That 5K effort places No. 144 of 521 athletes in MileSplit's database at Evans Park since 2019.
Jackson Webster, Kelly Walsh High School (Wyoming): Placed third among 257 finishers at the Wyoming Cross Country Invitational, covering the 5K in 16:58.16. The performance improved on a prior mark of 17:01.10 on the same course, 2.9 seconds faster, and now ranks No. 66 of 1,674 athletes in MileSplit's database at Little America Golf Course since 2019.
Xavier Brown, Sheridan High School (Wyoming): Running the 5K in 18:32.70 at the Northern Hills Invitational Cross Country Meet, the junior finished second among 53 runners. The time ranks No. 151 of 522 athletes in MileSplit's database at Evans Park since 2019.
