Wyoming high school track and field athletes posted personal bests across multiple events at regional championships held May 15.
Jacob Talich (Cody) cleared 6-5 in the high jump at the Wyoming 3A West Regional Championships, improving from his previous best of 6-1. The freshman ranks #7 in the state and #1 among freshmen, finishing 2nd of 11 competitors.
Alex Goodman (Mountain View) threw 45-8.25 in the shot put at the Wyoming 3A West Regional Championships, bettering his previous mark of 41-6.5 from May 2026. The junior placed 6th of 30 competitors and ranks #45 in Wyoming.
Tucker Devlin (Little Snake River) threw 159-4 in the discus at Wyoming 1A-2A West Regionals, improving from 143-10. The senior won the event among 61 competitors, set a school record, and ranks #12 in the state.
Henry Cook (Campbell County) ran 11.30 in the 100 meters at Wyoming 4A East Regionals, dropping from 11.63. The junior finished 13th of 24 competitors and ranks #50 statewide.
Oliver Frank (Lander Valley) ran 52.17 in the 400 meters at the Wyoming 3A West Regional Championships, improving from 54.66. The sophomore placed 6th of 16 competitors and also set a PR in the 800 meters with 2:14.41, down from 2:16.85.
John Vaughn (Sheridan) ran 15.53 in the 110m hurdles at Wyoming 4A East Regionals, improving from 16.01 set in May 2026. The sophomore finished 2nd of 18 competitors and also ran 40.58 in the 300m hurdles, down from 40.72.
Nic Schiller (Upton) ran 23.34 in the 200 meters at Wyoming 1A-2A East Regionals, improving from 23.95. The junior placed 4th of 42 competitors and ranks #77 in the state.
Max Jones (Saratoga) ran 15.62 in the 110m hurdles at Wyoming 1A-2A West Regionals, improving from 16.07 set in May 2026. The junior finished 3rd of 20 competitors and also ran 43.38 in the 300m hurdles, down from 43.61.
Adam Frey (Sheridan) won the 110m hurdles in 15.06 at Wyoming 4A East Regionals, improving from 15.43. The junior ranks #6 in the state and #3 among juniors.
Archer Ohnstad (Newcastle) ran 11:06.35 in the 3200 meters at the Wyoming 3A East Regional Championships, improving from 11:29.47 set in April 2026. The senior finished 7th of 15 competitors and also ran 2:14.00 in the 800 meters, down from 2:15.41.
Cash Robison (Cody) ran 15.67 in the 110m hurdles at the Wyoming 3A West Regional Championships, improving from 15.87. The junior finished 3rd of 10 competitors and also ran 41.02 in the 300m hurdles, down from 41.46.
