Wyoming high school track and field athletes posted several personal records and school marks at meets held April 30-May 2.

Cerenity Quintana (Worland) ran 13.30 in the 100 meters at the Roy Peck Riverton Invitational on May 1, improving from her previous best of 14.01. The junior's time ranks #64 in Wyoming and #12 among state juniors. Quintana placed fourth of 48 competitors and also set a PR in the 200 meters, clocking 27.78 to better her previous mark of 27.86.

Avery Walker (Lovell) cleared 5-3 in the high jump at the Lovell High School Invitational on May 2, improving from her previous best of 5-1. The sophomore's mark sets a school record for Lovell High School and ranks #8 in Wyoming and #3 among state sophomores. Walker won the event among eight competitors and also PR'd in the long jump with a leap of 16-9, improving from 16-2.25.

Whitney Barritt (Upton) vaulted 11-3 at the Dennis Zowada Invite on May 2, bettering her previous best of 10-10 set in April 2026. The sophomore's height establishes a school record for Upton High School and ranks #5 in Wyoming and #1 among state sophomores. Barritt won the event among 15 competitors.

Sara Lester (Natrona County) ran 2:24.86 in the 800 meters at the KW Invite on April 30, improving from her previous best of 2:30.50 set in April 2026. The junior's time ranks #22 in Wyoming and #12 among state juniors. Lester placed third of 36 competitors.

Riley Cook (Douglas) ran 12.53 in the 100 meters at the Wyoming Track & Field Classic on May 1, improving from her previous best of 12.78 set in April 2026. The senior's time sets a school record for Douglas High School and ranks #8 in Wyoming and #6 among state seniors. Cook placed fourth of nine competitors.

Addison Alley (Riverton) ran 14.25 in the 100m hurdles at the Roy Peck Riverton Invitational on May 1, improving from her previous best of 14.57. The senior's time sets a school record for Riverton High School and ranks #1 in Wyoming and #1 among state seniors. Alley won the event among 13 competitors and also PR'd in the 100 meters (12.38, improved from 12.50) and 200 meters (26.04, improved from 27.73).

Karsyn Phipps (Thunder Basin) ran 12:56.58 in the 3200 meters at the Basin Nation Invite on April 30, improving from her previous best of 13:11.94 set in April 2026. The freshman's time ranks #46 in Wyoming and #10 among state freshmen. Phipps placed second of seven competitors.

Kandace Asay (Lovell) ran 5:39.44 in the 1600 meters at the Lovell High School Invitational on May 2, improving from her previous best of 5:45.29 set in April 2026. The junior's time ranks #38 in Wyoming and #18 among state juniors. Asay placed third of 14 competitors.

Bristol Craig (Natrona County) ran 25.43 in the 200 meters at the Wyoming Track & Field Classic on May 1, improving from her previous best of 25.70. The freshman's time ranks #6 in Wyoming and #1 among state freshmen. Craig placed third of eight competitors.
