Wyoming high school track and field athletes posted personal records at meets across the state this week.
Alexis Teschendorf (Natrona County) ran 5:16.10 in the 1600 meters at the Gary Benson 3A/4A Clash on April 21, improving from her previous best of 5:33.16 set in April 2026. The freshman won the event among 19 competitors and ranks #8 in Wyoming and #1 among freshmen. Teschendorf also set a PR in the 800 meters, running 2:24.04 to improve from 2:26.81.
Jordyn Haar (Sheridan) clocked 12:26.45 in the 3200 meters at the Dan Hansen Invitational on April 25, bettering her previous mark of 13:00.79 from April 2026. The freshman won the two-athlete field and ranks #27 in the state and #6 among freshmen.
Deijah Ard (Cheyenne Central) ran 12.90 in the 100 meters at the Cheyenne Central Invite on April 22, improving from 13.40. The freshman placed second among 62 competitors and ranks #25 in Wyoming and #7 among freshmen. Ard also posted a PR in the 200 meters with 27.15, down from 27.94.
Hannah Mowry (Sheridan) ran 2:21.29 in the 800 meters at the Gary Benson 3A/4A Clash on April 21, improving from 2:25.38. The junior won among 21 competitors and ranks #7 in the state and #5 among juniors.
Dorothy Jensen (Lander Valley) clocked 11:09.62 in the 3200 meters at the Rocky Mountain High School Invite on April 25, improving from 11:27.43 set in May 2025. The sophomore won among nine competitors and set a school record while ranking #4 in Wyoming and #1 among sophomores.
Emily Ramsey (Rawlins) ran 13.39 in the 100 meters at the Ted Schroeder 'Meet of Hope' on April 25, improving from 13.67 set in April 2026. The sophomore placed fourth among 53 competitors and ranks #71 in the state and #15 among sophomores.
Makenzy Creel (Cheyenne Central) clocked 13.30 in the 100 meters at the Cheyenne Central Invite on April 22, improving from 13.78. The junior placed sixth among 62 competitors and ranks #55 in Wyoming and #11 among juniors.
Mia Dhodapkar (Sheridan) ran 5:31.90 in the 1600 meters at the Gary Benson 3A/4A Clash on April 21, improving from 5:37.86 set in April 2026. The freshman placed sixth among 19 competitors and ranks #19 in the state and #4 among freshmen.
Holly Clement (Cheyenne Central) ran 15.93 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Cheyenne Central Invite on April 22, improving from 16.19 set in April 2026. The sophomore won among 17 competitors and ranks #11 in Wyoming and #3 among sophomores.
Sara Lester (Natrona County) clocked 26.97 in the 200 meters at the Cowboy Invitational on April 25, improving from 27.60. The junior placed sixth among 57 competitors and ranks #37 in the state and #9 among juniors. Lester also set a PR in the 400 meters with 1:00.82, down from 1:02.10.
Horizon Hanson (Buffalo) ran 12.79 in the 100 meters at the Gary Benson 3A/4A Clash on April 21, improving from 12.92. The senior placed seventh among 28 competitors and ranks #17 in Wyoming and #7 among seniors.
London Weaver (Cheyenne Central) clocked 13.17 in the 100 meters at the Cheyenne Central Invite on April 22, improving from 14.01 set in April 2025. The junior placed third among 62 competitors and ranks #40 in the state and #7 among juniors.
