Rock Canyon boys edge Albuquerque Academy
The Albuquerque Academy boys have been the bane of many a Colorado squad in recent years, and when Jordan Lesansee cruised to a 15:17.2 first place finish it looked like the history could be repeating. Arapahoe struck back first putting two runners in the top eight, but ultimately Rock Canyon would be the Colorado team to answer the challenge by being the only team to put all five scorers in the top 30.
The effort at the fifth runner would prove to be the difference as Rock Canyon beat Albuquerque 94 to 97.
