Meet Information
Wind River XC Invitational
Date: Friday August 29th
Schedule:
7:30- Course open for teams to walk
9:00- High School Girls
9:45- High School Boys
10:30- Awards (Top 5 individuals in each race will be recognized and receive a medal).
Packets: We will provide packets upon arrival. Maps and bibs will be provided in these packets; please arrive early enough to walk the course before the start of the first race.
Water: Water and gatorade coolers will be provided on a picnic table near the start/finish.
Locker Rooms: Locker room facilities are not provided. Restrooms are located near the football field.
Course: The course includes two loops through and around the campus of Wind River Schools with some sections of shade trees. The footing is a combination of grass and dirt with a few sections of pavement. It is not a fast course due to a few tight corners but who wants that anyways as a first race? The start and finish take place in the Olive Grove. Arrive Early to walk and get a feel for the course.
Bathrooms: The bathrooms are located near the high school football field.
Entries: We will be using Wyoming Milesplit. Both races are unlimited entries. Entries close at 4:00 pm on Thursday August 28th.
Bus Parking: Please park buses near outdoor basketball courts.
