Meet Information

Participation Rules: There will be four divisions- 7th grade girls, 7th grade boys, 8th grade girls, and 8th grade boys. In each division there will be 10 entries per individual running event, except for the 100M dash which is unlimited entries. All relays will be limited to two relay teams. In each division there will be 5 entries per field event, except for shotput and discus which will be 10 entries each. Each participant is limited to 4 events total. *200M dash will be 12 entries.
Scoring: Team scores will be kept. 1st- 6 pts, 2nd- 4 pts, 3rd-3 pts, 4th- 2 pts, 5th- 1 pt; Relays: 1st- 5 pts, 2nd- 3 pts, 3rd- 1 pt
Timing: FAT timing system.
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in all divisions. They will be placed in team envelopes and may be picked up at the press box after the meet.
Shot and Discus: Each team will be required to use their own shot and discus. 4K Shot and 1K Disc will be used.
Spikes: Only 1/8 spikes will be allowed on the track or runway surfaces. Any participant found wearing longer spikes will be disqualified.
Coaches Protocol: Coaches will be allowed on the field to coach their athletes provided they do not interfere with the administration of the meet. Please make sure there is an adult in the stands to supervise athletes who are not competing. Absolutely no food/drink on the turf field. At the end of the meet please use the provided trash bag to make sure your team area is cleaned up of all trash.
Entries: Entries will need to be submitted to MileSplit by 8:00am. on Thursday, May 2nd 2024.
