Wind River Icebreaker High School Track Meet
DATE OF MEET: Saturday March 16, 2024
TIME: 8:30 AM Coaches Meeting
Field events will begin at 9:30 a.m. Running events will start at approximately 11:30 a.m.
ENTRIES: All entries must be in Milesplit and will be shut down on Wednesday March 13, 2024 @ noon
We will not allow any additions or changes, only scratches, on Saturday morning. If you plan to attend the meet you must have milesplit entries completed on time!
Teams are allowed to enter up to two relay teams but you must designate which team will be the scoring team.
FEE: $175 per team
AWARDS: Ribbons will be given for first through 3rd places.
LOCKER ROOMS: Will not be available.
RESTROOMS: Are located along the sidewalks (portable restrooms).
COACHES: As always we could use your assistance with
hurdle set-up and removal as well as relay exchange judges. Thanks in
advance for your help!
SCRATCHES: A coaches meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the crows nest. We will do scratches in the crows nest after the meeting. No additions will be allowed.
TEAM CAMPS: No camps will be allowed on the football field. Camps should be located in the stands or on the grass at the west or south end of the track. Coaches are
responsible for monitoring and cleaning up your team camp area. Trash
bags can be obtained from the crows nest.
RESULTS: Will be posted as soon as we finalize the meet
UNIFORMS:Coaches you are responsible for making sure your athletes are following the NFHS uniform guidelines.
HOSPITALITY: Hospitality room for meet officials, coaches, bus drivers, and sponsors ONLY and will be located in the music room of the main building west of the jumping pits.
PACKETS: Coaches packets may be found in the crows nest upon your arrival. Please pick this up upon arrival. Contents include coaches letter, order
of events, WHSAA qualifying report form, invoice for entry fees and a
trash bag for clean-up.
POLE VAULT:There will be no pole vaulting.
LONG/TRIPLE JUMPS: Competitors will have four (4) jumps scored as finals.
SHOT/DISCUS: All implements must be weighed and registered at the track shed by the inspector of implements. Competitors will be given four (4) attempts which
will be recorded as finals.
