2021 Wheatland Cross Country Meet
Friday, October 1st
Meet Location: Lewis Park. 14 Recreation Dr., Wheatland, WY
From the south: Take exit 78 on I-25, turn right onto Mariposa, take right onto 16th Street, take left onto Cole, take a left on 8th st. Lewis Park is on the left.
From the north: Take exit 78 on I-25, turn right onto Mariposa, take right onto 16th Street, take left onto Cole, take a left on 8th st. Lewis Park is on the left.
Start Times: 10:00 AM - V Girls 5K Race
10:30 AM - V Boys 5K Race
11:00 AM - JV Girls 5K Race
11:30 AM - JV Boys 5K Race
12:00 AM - Jr. High Girls
12:30 AM - Jr. High Boys
Please send us an approximate number of athletes competing by Monday, Sept. 27th. Once we have this information we may adjust the number of heats for each gender/division.

If Numbers are High:
SEEDING: Both HS divisions will have 2 heats. The fastest 30 runners will run in the second heat with the remaining runners in the first heat. Please list your runners fastest time of the year on the entry sheet.
ENTRIES: Entries should be returned to sally.nichols@platte1.org. The deadline to return entries is Tuesday, September 28th at 2:00 pm. Numbers will be assigned and returned so athletes can write them on the back of their left hand.
Entry Fee: $75 per school. Click here for invoice.
Parking: Bus and spectator parking is throughout the park.
Facilities: There are bathroom facilities throughout the park.
Packets: There will be no packets for this meet. All Entries will be submitted via mile split
Course: A map will be provided upon arrival. The course will be clearly marked with white paint and each turn will be flagged. The course is mostly grass and gravel. A lead vehicle will direct the runners.
Results: Results will be emailed to each coach as soon as possible.
Awards: No awards for this meet.
