Now that we are a month into the 2023 Wyoming High School Indoor season and some of the bigger meets of the year the rankings are beginning to fill out nicely.
Admittedly, the big oval in Salt Lake messes up the rankings but it is what it is.
Once again this week's performer of the week consists of new Wyoming number 1(in some cases multiple events) on the WyoMileSplit Rankings.
- Sydney Morrell (Cheyenne Central): Sydney ran a new Wyoming #1 in the 1600 running 5:06.61
- Ryann Smith (Rawlins): Ryann ran 10:52.27 for a new Wyoming #1 in the 3200
- Trishell Ponarolo (Torrington): Trishell triple jumped 33-6.75 for a new Wyoming #1 in the Triple Jump
- Valerie Jirak (Star Valley): Valerie had a great day in Salt Lake setting 4 Wyoming #1's on the big oval. included in these are 7.99 in the 60, 26.05 in the 200, 58.98 in the 400, and 17-6.75 in the Long Jump. Wow!
