The Wyoming Cross Country week 1 future star is Cheyenne Central freshman Race Morrell.
Race ran 17:10.8 in his first high school effort placing 7th in the Horizon Invitational. He was the #4 runner on the Central boys' Squad that won the Horizon race with a comfortable 25-point margin. His 17:10 is also currently #11 on the Wyoming Week 1 Boys 5K Rankings
