Fossil Ridge Boys Edge out Arvada West
The young men roaming the halls of Arvada West have struck fear with a vengeance in to the hearts of opponents this fall. Evidently, Fossil Ridge boys did not get the memo on that. Fossil Ridge drew blood first with Dylan Ko in 4th place, next was Blake Hubert in 10th. A-West answered with Max Sevcik in 15th and Colin Berndt in 19th. It would appear that the Sabercats had the title near wrapped up when Matt Hubert finished 20th. Arvada West fought back hard going 23rd, 26th, 31st. Team total 114. Finally, Andrew McClave and Will Brausch came flying around the corner and fought their way through the chutes in 38th and 40th. Team score, 112. Team title, Sabercats.
