Wheatland Middle School Invitational Track Meet

DATE OF MEET: Friday, May 2nd, 2025 PLACE: Wheatland High School Track
Time: 10am-Field Events Running at 12:00pm
ENTRIES: There will be TWO (2) divisions, A only: MS Boys and MS Girls. Each school may have ten (10) entries per individual running event in each division; eight (8) for HJ, LJ, PV, TJ; six (6) throwers per event and only 2 relays per division. Each athlete may participate in 4 events including relays. In the field events there will be three (3) attempts with no finals, with the exception of the high jump/pole vault (maximum of 3 attempts per height).
SPIKES: 1/8 Pyramid spikes only.
Teams will be allowed to set up camp on the football field. Please pick up trash from your teams before leaving.
EQUIPMENT/CERTIFICATION: Blocks will be provided. Each team will be allowed to use their own shot and discus provided that all shots and discs meet weight specifications.
ENTRIES: Please submit your entries on Milesplit Wyoming for the meet titled: Wheatland Middle School Invitational Track Meet, by Thursday, May 1st at 6 pm.
SCORING AND AWARDS: Team scores will be available on milesplit.
RUNWAYS - RINGS: The shot and discus rings are cement, warm-up will be limited at 5 minutes for each flight. The triple jump, high jump and long jump runways are rubberized asphalt.
BAD WEATHER: In case of cancellation due to weather, you may call , 970-631-4590 Blaine Eppel, send us a coachs phone # and your departure time in case we have to cancel the morning of the track meet.
INITIAL MEETING: The meeting will begin at 9:15 am in the Field House at the south end of the track. You will receive your event clipboard and equipment (tape measure, rake, etc.)
COACHES: Each school will be asked to work one field event, help with exchange zones.
