9. Bottelier Goes For More In High Jump
The state's best high jumper will take on the nation's best this weekend. Lydia Bottelier of Palisades is entered in the championship section of the high jump (Sunday, 2pm). She enters the weekend tied at US#10 with a host of other girls with her season best of 5-10.
On a good day, anything is possible in the high jump, so Bottelier could certainly contend for a spot in All-American territory. Last year, she jumped 5-07 to take 19th at NBNO.
