Several Wyoming high school track and field athletes posted personal records at meets last week.
Kaylee Moats (Southeast, Yoder) won the girls' 200 meters in 26.95 at the Bayard CD Track Meet, improving from her previous best of 28.62 set in March 2026. The sophomore ranks #57 in Wyoming and #9 among state sophomores.
Zach Austin (Burns) ran 15.37 in the boys' 110-meter hurdles at the Bayard CD Track Meet, placing second and dropping from his previous mark of 16.49. The senior moves to #11 in Wyoming and #2 among state seniors.
Harper Baltz (Big Horn) clocked 12.74 in the girls' 100 meters at the Sheridan Quad, finishing second and improving from 13.09 set in March 2026. The mark places her #21 in Wyoming.
Blake Olson (Big Horn) ran 4:34.54 in the boys' 1600 meters at the Sheridan Quad, setting a school record and improving from his previous best of 4:41.19 from March 2026. The senior finished sixth and ranks #31 in Wyoming and #9 among state seniors.
Chase Garber (Big Horn) threw 51-0.25 in the boys' shot put at the Sheridan Quad, winning the event and improving from 48-10.5. The junior ranks #16 in Wyoming and #6 among state juniors.
Braxton Nelson (Powell) won the boys' 100 meters in 11.34 at the D&D Invitational, improving from 11.59. The sophomore also set a personal record in the high jump, clearing 6-4 after previously jumping 6-2. Nelson ranks #71 in Wyoming and #8 among state sophomores in the 100.
Naomi Johnson (Dubois) ran 13.06 in the girls' 100 meters at the D&D Invitational, placing second and improving from 13.28. The senior ranks #54 in Wyoming and #16 among state seniors.
Dayne Wilshusen (Burns) ran 11.27 in the boys' 100 meters at the Bayard CD Track Meet, placing second and improving from 11.44. The sophomore also set a personal record in the 200 meters with 23.63, improving from 23.77. Wilshusen ranks #60 in Wyoming and #6 among state sophomores in the 100.
Chris Martinez (Worland) ran 50.79 in the boys' 400 meters at the D&D Invitational, placing second and improving from 51.76 set in March 2026. The sophomore ranks #27 in Wyoming and #2 among state sophomores.
John Hines (Buffalo) ran 15.78 in the boys' 110-meter hurdles at the Sheridan Quad, placing second and improving from 15.98 set in March 2026. The junior also set a personal record in the 300-meter hurdles with 42.51, improving from 43.05. Hines ranks #19 in Wyoming and #3 among state juniors in the 110 hurdles.
