Several Wyoming high school athletes set personal records at meets across the state during the week of March 16.
Trenton Brown (Natrona County) ran 22.28 in the 200 meters at the KW Quad Meet on March 19, improving from his previous best of 26.13. The sophomore finished second of 44 competitors and ranks #21 in Wyoming and #2 among sophomores. Brown also set personal records in the 100 meters (11.84, down from 12.51) and long jump (17-11, up from 16-10) at the same meet.
Madison Dunning (Saratoga) won the 3200 meters at the Wind River Ice Breaker on March 21 in 13:01.39, cutting nearly two minutes off her previous personal record of 14:47.02 set in May 2025. The senior placed first of four competitors and ranks #73 in Wyoming and #17 among seniors.
Nana Osei-Acheampong (Natrona County) clocked 11.13 in the 100 meters at the KW Quad Meet on March 19, improving from 11.74 set in April 2025. The junior finished fourth of 79 competitors and ranks #28 in Wyoming and #10 among juniors.
Josh Barton (Natrona County) won the 200 meters at the KW Quad Meet in 22.17, dropping from his previous best of 23.44. The senior's time ranks #14 in Wyoming and #5 among seniors.
Kameron Kroeger (Kelly Walsh) ran 22.90 in the 200 meters at the KW Quad Meet, improving from 24.16 set in March 2026. The sophomore placed fifth of 44 competitors and ranks #52 in Wyoming and #7 among sophomores.
Finn McFadden (Lander Valley) won the long jump at the Tiger Quad meet on March 20 with a leap of 21-8.25, improving from his previous best of 18-5. The junior's mark ranks #17 in Wyoming and #2 among juniors.
Austin Ball (Natrona County) ran 23.38 in the 200 meters at the KW Quad Meet, improving from 24.59 set in February 2026. The freshman finished eighth of 44 competitors and ranks #90 in Wyoming and #2 among freshmen. Ball also set a personal record in the long jump (18-3.5, up from 17-2.75).
Gustavo Marmorato (Rock Springs) clocked 22.89 in the 200 meters at the Tiger Quad meet, improving from 24.06 set in March 2026. The senior placed second of 24 competitors and ranks #50 in Wyoming and #14 among seniors.
Mayleigh McIntyre (Kelly Walsh) ran 12.81 in the 100 meters at the KW Quad Meet, improving from 13.61 set in May 2025. The senior finished second of 42 competitors and ranks #22 in Wyoming and #8 among seniors.
Darin Binning (Pinedale) won the 800 meters at the Wind River Ice Breaker in 2:07.16, cutting more than 11 seconds off his previous best of 2:18.77 set in May 2025. The senior placed first of 18 competitors and ranks #94 in Wyoming and #32 among seniors.
