For the girls Individual race it was 18th in the country  Lexy Halladay of Mountain View (ID) all the way finishing with a time of 17:31 which was 22 seconds over her runner up.  Lexy took control of the race and really let it show breaking away from the rest of the field after that first mile.  She never looked back and cruised into the finish running the best time she has ever run at this meet.  Second was freshman Kate Peters of Lincoln Oregon who ran a 17:53.7.  Peters has the 6th fastest freshman 5K time in the country when she went 17:48.7 at the Ash Creek XC Festival a couple of weeks ago.  She will have a rematch with Halladay at the Nike Portland XC Invite this Saturday.  Carlee Hansen of Woods Cross Utah rounded out the top three in a time of 17:57.90 and Eliza Arrington of Lone Peak was the last to dip under that 18 minute barrier going 17:59.5 for the challenging 5K course!
