State Champion Hurdler Sincere Rhea Commits to Penn State


Interview from Rhea's indoor NJSIAA Meet of Champions 7.35 victory in the 55m hurdles. 

On Monday night St. Augustine Prep senior Sincere Rhea announced that he will be attending Penn State University next fall. Rhea made the announcement with his family by his side through a video posted to his twitter account as seen embedded below. 

Rhea is a star on the football field as well as the track where he has won multiple hurdling Non-Public A  State Championships. On top of that he notch himself a 2018 NJSIAA Indoor Meet of Champions title when he ran a breakout 7.35 in the 55m hurdle finals for gold. He also placed second in the 110m hurdles during this past spring season's Meet of Champions before moving on to earn All-American status at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. 

The Penn State bound student athlete has PRs of 7.35 in the 55m hurdles, 13.74 in the 110m hurdles, 54.62 in the 400m hurdles.
