  • Cody's Alex Gwinn and Anna Bales Vault to US #12 Rankings

      Cody's Alex Gwynn improved his all time PR to to 15 3 1/2 to achieve a #12US Ranking.Fellow Sr. from Campbell Countie Steve Turpin Vaulted 15in Cheyenne for the second straight week solidifying his 15 foot statues The Camel and Bronc vaulters will meet for the first time this year on January 29 in Spearfish SD at the Stadium Sports Grill Invitational. Anna Bales also from Cody equaled Gwynn’s #12 US ranking with a vault of 11-7 (season best).   .

  • Kody Williams, Alex Gwynn, and Steve Turpin Open 2010 Season with a Bang

    Sheridan’s Kody Williams (LJ 22-11.5), Cody’s Alex Gwynn (PV 15-0.5), and Gillette’s Steve Turpin (PV 15)  All opened the 2010 Indoor season with nationally ranked performances.  Williams capped a three win performance (55m 6.63, 200m 23.70) with a  #8 US Ranked Long Jump of 22-11.5 at the 2010 Yellow Jacket Open in Spearfish SD. Gwynn vaulted to a #12 ranking in Laramie WY at the Shine Invitational with a vault of 15’1/2”. Turpin, won the 55 hurdles in 8.02 in addition to vaulting a US #13(tie) height of 15 also at the Yellow Jacket Open. Numerous athletes had multiple wins in meets this past weekend. The first big test for most teams will be January 29th at The Stadium Sports Grill Invitational in Spearfish SD, with most the Teams in the state competeing.

  • Wyoming Indoor Season Starts (finally)

    The Wyoming Indoor Season Starts today with the  first day of practice on January 4. Competitions begin January 15th with meets in  Spearfish South Dakota, Provo Utah, and Laramie Wyoming. With the opening weekend being split between 3 venues it should open up some competitive opportunities for many athletes.
