COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Chadron State College's Stachia Reuwsaat has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Female Field Athlete of the Week following her stellar performance at Colorado Mines Saturday, Dec. 13.
 
Reuwsaat, a sophomore from Black Hawk, South Dakota, set a school record in the long jump with a leap of 21-feet, 1 ¼ inches. The mark is currently the best in Division II.
 
Reuwsaat's indoor season is off to a strong start. At a meet hosted by Black Hills State in early December, Reuwsaat hit a jump of 19-11. Last week she also had two other jumps over 20 feet.
